Which Class Should You Choose? A Decision Framework
Every new player asks the same question: which class is right for me? The Game Guide lists the stats — this article helps you match a class to your real playing habits, so your choice actually sticks.
Start With Your Schedule, Not the Stats
Before you look at any numbers, ask how often you can really log in. If you play once a day, an aggressive class like the Berserker will punish you — its whole power relies on frequent sessions and prompt banking. If you check in several times a day, your class can afford to be riskier.
Your schedule is the single biggest factor most players ignore. A 'strong' class played at the wrong frequency will underperform a 'weak' class played consistently. Write down your typical login pattern before you open the class list.
Rate Your Risk Tolerance
Now think about how you feel when you lose Satoshi to an attack. If losing a few thousand sats ruins your session, pick a defensive class and lean on the bank. If you treat losses as the cost of aggressive play, an offensive class makes sense. There is no 'best' class — only the class that matches how you handle losses.
Narrow It Down to Two
Once you know your schedule and risk profile, the choice collapses fast: high frequency plus high tolerance points to Thief or Berserker. Low frequency plus low tolerance points to Paladin or Guardian. Mid frequency and balanced points to Warrior or Merchant. Read only the two classes that fit your profile — the decision paralysis ends there.
Plan Your Second Class Early
Your first class is free, but unlocking new ones costs Satoshi. A common mistake is buying a second class on impulse. Decide your 'main' and your 'alt' now, and only unlock the alt once you have the bank buffer to protect its earnings. Switching classes is cheap — losing your bank buffer isn't.
